A gig in Shipley featuring John Froud. John and his guitar used to come to Nab Wood Middle School and sing humourous yet painfully repetative christian themed songs which we were forced to join in with. He looks a bit like a tubby Jesus. No wonder I never embraced religion.

I didn’t even want to go to religious assembly but it was that or become muslim and they wouldn’t let me go to muslim assembly for what ever twisted reason they had. For a matter of fact, how did a Church of England school end up having muslim assemblies anyway? Shouldn’t it be christian of nothing? It’s political correctness gone mad again.
